Good leaders are the custodians of morality"

Africa continues to face many social, economic, and political challenges. To successfully tackle these issues, we require enlightened leaders who are determined to solve our continent’s problem’s through strong values and unwavering optimism. It is well known that one good leader can make a difference throughout an entire generation. Likewise, one bad leader can ruin the economic and social prosperity for a whole generation. Making Africa great again requires us to address the topic of leadership, as Africa will either rise or fall based on the type of leaders we identify, build, and mold.

“My personal goal is to mentor and develop the next generation of African leaders; that will lead with the right mix of integrity, values, skills, and experience.”

My personal goal is to mentor and develop the next generation of African leaders; that will not only impart their knowledge and share their opinions, but lead with the right mix of integrity, values, skills, and experience. Through the Higherlife Foundation we provide over 60 000 mentorship hours annually to young people; in the hope of accelerating the personal and professional development of over 2 million future African leaders by 2020. We also provide mentorship online, leveraging technology and social media to uplift African youth across the continent. We have recently partnered with Yale University in USA to train and mentor young leaders, encouraging them to partake in discourses abut key issues affecting Africa and the global community at large.

Young men and women that demonstrate exceptional academic and leadership potential can/should also benefit from mentorships. Through our academic scholarship programmes, we provide leadership training and mentorships through internships, community involvement, and our engagements with an active alumni network. Business mentorship opportunities are also available through Muzinda Hub, our digital skills training platform.

For Africa to reclaim its glory, we must develop leaders that are enlightened and ready to solve the many challenges our continent faces with boldness, integrity, and spiritual determination.

Let’s educate, mentor, and trust the next generation to go out and change the world.
